about

ABOUT

Originally from Denver, Colorado, I am a PhD student of Mark Grant at the University of Aberdeen. I consider myself a geometrically-minded algebraic topologist, and my research interests include line fields on manifolds and other differential topology questions which can be tackled using obstruction theory.

  • "Classification of 1-manifolds," with Julia Knihs.

  • "The Fundamental Theorem of Galois theory," with Jovan Vukovic.

  • "Which Spheres are Lie groups?" with Andy Gu
